National De-mining / UXO Specialist
LOCATION: Cambodia
Responsibilities:
The selected consultant will support the project by:

Conducting UXO risk assessments for rural roads and infrastructure subprojects.

Supporting pre-construction site investigations and recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures.

Coordinating UXO survey and clearance activities with relevant stakeholders and qualified clearance contractors.

Preparing technical reports, clearance documentation, and safety recommendations.
-
Developing UXO risk awareness programs for project personnel and affected communities.

Providing technical advice to the Project Manager and supporting project implementation as required.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in UXO/de-mining, mine action, or infrastructure-related risk assessment.

Demonstrated experience supporting infrastructure or civil works projects, preferably involving rural roads or similar development works.

Experience working with international organizations or donor-funded projects is preferred.

Strong technical reporting, coordination, and communication skills.

Good command of spoken and written Khmer and English.
